That just seems like a bad April fools joke to me. I've read elsewhere that the disk must be the same size or larger. I even set the disk as the first boot device in BIOS. (0x80042407) I've tried creating partitions of all sizes and leaving the disk blank, same error. Replace the disk with a larger one and retry the restore operation. Error details: The disk that is set as active in BIOS is too small to recover the original system disk. The Windows Complete PC Restore operation failed. right when the restore should start, I get an error. After reconfiguring the RAID array I started the recovery process. I did a full backup with Windows Server Backup to a network location. This would give me a chance to test the restore functionality of Windows Server Backup.
